About Ben Olivares
Ben Olivares es Diseñador, Blogger y Fotógrafo profesional originario de la ciudad de Guadalajara, Jalisco en México.
Después de 18 años de trabajar en el área de diseño de imagen e identidad corporativa, Ben decidió convertir su hobby de toda la vida en una carrera y combinar su experiencia en el desarrollo de conceptos creativos con su pasión por la fotografía.
Es editor del Blog FOTO MX, uno de los 10 blogs de fotografía mas visitados en todo Iberoamérica lo cual lo a convertido en un importante influenciador y promotor de la fotografía digital en México y otros países de habla hispana.
A finales del 2007 Ben se convirtió en el primer instructor en México en ofrecer capacitación para el software ®Adobe Photoshop Ligthroom, "el nuevo cuarto oscuro digital", lo cual lo llevo a formar parte del equipo de fotógrafos profesionales que actualmente imparten el prestigiado diplomado de fotografía del ITESO.
A sido líder por 3 años consecutivos para la versión Guadalajara del evento mundial de fotografía "Worldwide Photowalk" donde en Julio del 2010 participaron simultáneamente mas de 33,000 fotógrafos de todo el mundo.
Actualmente Ben es un fotógrafo independiente especializado en la Fotografía documental de bodas y del Tequila y su paisaje agavero, es instructor y tallerista de Lightroom "certificado por Adobe" y co-conductor del programa radiofónico de fotografía "La Caja Mágica" que transmitido semanalmente por la radio en Guadalajara y por Internet al resto del mundo cuenta ya con mas de 200 emisiones al aire referentes a la promoción y difusión de la fotografía en nuestro idioma.
Ben Olivares posee la más grande colección de fotos en línea relacionadas al Tequila y su paisaje agavero, la cual tiene como principal objetivo el de promover y difundir la cultura del Tequila y su denominación de origen con todo el mundo.

After being in the graphic design industry for more than 18 years Ben realized that he didn't want to be just sitting behind his computer any more, so in 2007 He decided to turn his longlife hobby into a career and combine his experience in developing creative concepts with his love for photography.
He is editor of the FOTO MX blog one of the top 10 photography blogs in spanish. In 2007 He became the first instructor in Mexico to provide training for the Adobe Photoshop Lightroom software, currently He is part of the team of professional photographers that teaches the diploma of photography at the ITESO University in Guadalajara
As a native of the region of Tequila He had devoted much of his free time photographing on countless occasions the pueblitos, haciendas y caminos that make up the appellation of origin of Tequila, and the Agave Landscape designated by UNESCO as a world heritage landmark.
Ben Olivares has the largest online collection of Fine art photos relating to Tequila and agave landscape, which has as main objective to promote and disseminate the culture of Tequila and its appellation of origin worldwide.
Each shoot is a creative journey that takes us beyond the expected and into new realms.
My ultimate satisfaction lies in creating memorable images for clients, advertisers, consumers and myself.
